We have a good group of high schoolers! More can I say? You all are awesome!
Our first Fall Retreat was a good one! We stayed at Son Lodge and enjoyed the rain for a good portion of the weekend. But it certainly was not enough to dampen our moods! We had a ton of fun together playing board games, eating yummy food (how about those BBQ ribbs?!), spending time in worship, playing welts, bonding together as a group, and learning more about the Lord as well as ourselves as we studied God's Word.
This year we included the ManHunt on this retreat (Jenna, you definitely take 1st place - best goth I've seen yet!). I'm still looking for the foodcourt at Clackamas.
One of our rooms at the lodge was flooded - and we could smell it! The carpets had been cleaned, but we couldn't get enough of the dehumidifier!
Speelman, your nine bowls of chili definitely kicked in at around midnight in the guys room. Girls, I've heard stories from your room too!
All in all, many memories were made. It was a sweet retreat. You guys are a sweet group! Keep growing and allowing the Lord to change you into the person He wants you to be.
