I love summer! Warm weather, family vacations, BBQ's, and youth group! Yes, I said youth group! Youth group continues through the summer and I love it! It seems a bit more relaxed in summer. The good weather has people feeling "peachy!"
During the summer months, we usually enjoy water games, sporadic get togethers (like at the youth center, DQ, or the tennis courts!) and we enjoy connecting with each other at house parties. For the month of August we'll be visiting different homes from the youth group! Hope you can make it out!
One more thing I enjoy about summer: the new freshmen! It's so good and refreshing to have a new group of students join us! This Sunday is the official night to welcome new freshmen! So let's make them feel part of the family. And if you're a new freshman reading this, know that we want you part of our group!
