For the first time in over a decade, our youth group is heading back for a "repeat mission trip." How exciting! But I must be honest, this really won't be much of a repeat. It's a brand new group of high school students, reaching out to a brand new group of children, doing a different kind of ministry. The church we are ministrying to meets in a different building. Our sleeping quarters will be in a different location as well. So what really is the same about this trip?

We're going back to Avenal, California! We're ministering with servant hearts to our hispanic brothers and sisters at Iglesia Evangelica de Avenal. Pastor Raul & Teresa will be friendly faces to the youth sponsors who are returning - and we will be to them! We'll be ministering in the same city park and desiring to have a similar impact on the town of Avenal. And I'm trusting we will have a similar growing experience in our lives.
